HOW IT WORKS
10 startups will be chosen based on how much change your idea could make. Free to attend. Your progress each day will be filmed and shared online. There will be mentors around the campfire, previous speakers mentoring you on Skype and, the crowd, giving you feed back online.

We have over 200 previous speakers to call upon who have all lived the startup life. Their advice comes from doing it.
OUR BACKGROUND
The Do Lectures is a global gathering around ideas. It takes place in Wales, USA and Australia. It was voted in the top ten ideas festivals in the world by the Guardian. It is now in its 7th year.
FOUNDERS ARE A SPECIAL BREED
Yes, what we are looking for is great ideas. But, even more important, are founders who can make them happen. They are rare.
GRIT
Ideas need bravery and imagination, but much more than anything they just require you to keep going.
CONFIDENCE
Introverts welcome. Extroverts welcome. We can’t give you wings, but we can tell you that you can fly. Confidence matters.
CURIOSITY
Ideas require an inquisitive mind. To look at something with a new set of eyes. What if we tried this? What if we looked at it like this?
FARM LIFE
You will write code. You will build prototypes. You will write business plans. You will pitch to your mentors. You will find customers. You will re-think. You will re-write. You will do farm chores each morning. And eat a farm supper together each evening whilst listening to inspiring talks from entrepreneurs.

HARVEST SUPPER
On the last day, you will pitch your startup idea to raise money to make it happen. In the audience on the farm and online will be investors waiting to hear it.
HOW DO YOU GET CHOSEN?
Make a 90 second film about you and your idea. Tell us what change you want to make and why. And then submit it to us at The Do Lectures. The best ones will be selected for an interview with us down here.
